Worked at Terrence Higgins Trust from 1988-89 fundraising and advocating for the rights of people with AIDS and HIV.

Portrayed Mariana in Trevor Nunn’s production of Measure for Measure for the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).

Portrayed Frances in Simon Usher’s production of Not Fade Away at the Bush Theatre.

Appeared in Bruce Macdonald’s Resort to Murder.

I played Rosalind in As You Like It, directed by Stephen Unwin for English Touring Theatre. I received the TMA Best Actress Award for this performance.

I appeared in Silent Witness (Season 1, Episode 1), directed by Harry Hook.

I appeared in Close Relations, directed by Michael White.

I appeared in the feature film The Luzhin Defence, directed by Marleen Gorris.

I appeared in Perfect Strangers, written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff for the BBC.

I played Constance in King John, directed by Gregory Doran for the RSC.

Founder and Artistic Director of Touchstone Theatre (Glebe School, Beckenham). During this period, I developed the Hunter Heartbeat Games (2002–2006) and created Beckton Lear (2005–2006).

I played Lucy Samsa in Metamorphosis, directed by David Farr and Gísli Gardarsson for Vesturport, touring to BAM New York and internationally.

I directed and adapted The Tempest for BADA at Oval House, London.

I directed and adapted King Lear for BADA at Oval House, London.

I played Hermione in The Winter’s Tale, directed by David Farr for the RSC, performed in Stratford-upon-Avon, at the Roundhouse in London, and at the Armoury in New York.

I directed and adapted The Tempest for autistic individuals, with the first sharing presented at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon.

I directed and adapted Twelfth Night for RADA.

I directed Rita, Sue and Bob Too at Mountview Drama School.

I led the Hunter Heartbeat Research Project at Ohio State University, developing and evaluating the Hunter Heartbeat methodology in collaboration with autistic individuals. (2012-2016)

I authored the first edition of Shakespeare’s Heartbeat: Drama Games for Children with Autism, published by Routledge.

I directed and adapted The Tempest for autistic individuals at the RSC/OSU Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon and at the Wexner Center in Columbus, Ohio. The production continues to be performed internationally and was later adapted for online access during the pandemic. Most recently, I directed the production in Lima, Peru in Autumn 2023.

I directed, adapted, and performed in Hamlet, Who’s There? for Flute Theatre at the Gdańsk Shakespeare Festival. The production toured internationally until 2018, including performances at the Craiova International Shakespeare Festival in Romania.

I toured internationally and across the UK with Flute Theatre as director and actor on Hamlet, Who’s There? and The Tempest for autistic audiences, including first performances at the Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond.

Director and Adaptor. Creates A Midsummer Night's Dream for autistic individuals in co-production with Orange Tree Theatre Richmond UK. Production tours until 2019, including two residencies at the Bridge Theatre London. Production is adapted as accessible online during the pandemic.

Flute Theatre. Director and Adaptor. Almagro Festival, Spain. Production tours Europe and the UK from 2017-2019, including Craiova International Shakespeare Festival Romania.

Bush Theatre London. Director. Founded a community project for autistic people in West London.

Offer regular artistic opportunities for participation for the most profoundly autistic individuals. Continue throughout the pandemic and build strong ties of trust with the community of families.

Collaborative project with autistic learners. Director. Begin working with St John's College Brighton. Deliver over 200 online performances for their autistic learners during the pandemic. Continue to deliver residencies in Brighton post-pandemic.

Adapted to be accessible online during COVID-19 pandemic. Adapts all three specialized productions to be available online for our community of autistic individuals. Delivers 967 live online performances across four continents.

Director and adaptor. 2023 OFFCOMM award for best overall production of a short run. Production tours to major international festivals, refugee centers, and schools for autistic children across the UK, Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria.

Adapter and Director Directs production of The Tempest for autistic individuals in Spanish with Peruvian actors. Productions tours Peru autumn 2023. Project in collaboration with People's Palace Project.
